I am looking at a 6 MPS tomorrow and just thought I'd do a bit of homework before I commit to buy.
Is there anything particular I should look out for?
Its a 56 plate

Thanks and I hope to learn alot from you fellas.

Hi and welcome. I too have just bought a 56 reg 6MPS, and I'd say they're reasonably bullet-proof tbh. Just look out for the usual things, smoking turbo, big end knock, clutch slip etc. I'm sure someone else will be along soon to point you in the right direction for other things to look out for.

Hello & :welcome:
Best to do all the usual checks, and have a search around the forum for usual stuff, but not many problems at all

Thanks, got the MPS on Saturday and when I was at a cafe with the engine ticking over I did notice smoke coming from the exhaust. Will this be the turbo? it's only got three months warranty on it so i need to get the jobs sorted now before it runs out.
Thanks in advance.
