 Post subject: A beep at high speed/high revs.... What is it?

Hi guys,

Another newbie owner of mk 1 3. Today while battering and Gti :D there was a beep while I was doing about 120 and 5.5-6 revs. Is this normal, as haven't heard it before. Did freak me out a little at that speed!!

Not sure bout mk1 but on mk2 u can set a speed limit and it beeps wen u hit it....

So do u never do 40 in a 30????? That will still get u points...
I've had mine at 140 but cobb told me I was doing more like 130
