Thanks for the welcome.
Well first thing i noticed was that tmic with no real air flow, so i think a corksport or similar fmic would be a gd bet, along with an hks bov? Also the corksport caliper upgrade looks good for the money?
What kind of boost do these cars run standard, and what do the standard internals manage?
I dont want to ask too much right now as its probably been asked a million times, and available on a thread search. Ill have a right gd read when i get a moment

Welcome to the forum mate!

You won't need a fmic until your running big power bud.

I ran 410bhp for ages on tmic.

There is plenty of air getting to it.
A Cobb access port would be what I'd buy first if I was starting again from scratch

So you dont think the power gains from a fmic are worth the money from the start?
Just going to read up on the cobb just now

+1 on the Cobb as a first purchase!

See you're from Stranraer......I'll be down your neck of the woods in a few weeks.

Give me a shout for a mini meet then Gary lol.
So the air intake is pretty decent then.
Cobb v3 it is then, looks a decent bit of kit

There are no real power gains to be had from a fmic, not until you're already really deep into modding.
The Cobb is an excellent piece of kit and you won't be disappointed at all.
You can either download premade maps or get someone to map you with it via emails.
I highly reccomend Justin (DJJUT on here)
