Just had the 3k oil change, 6k to go untill the motor is fully run in and the modding can begin!

Is 300hp realistic from an intake and tune?

Yes however you may need updated hpfp to get this as on the mk2 it seems to make a big difference

From what i have seen, most MK2 owners have gone for the HPFP Internals aswell when remapped.
It seems that the MK2 demands this upgrade more than the MK1 3 and the 6.

You wouldnt be far off 300 anyway.

EDIT: Dan beat me to it!

Autotech is most popular.
KMD's slightly cheaper.

Going to be a group buy on the Autotech's I think

id say autotechs as people have had alot of trouble with early kmd's destroying the fuel pump. autotechs are the same as the day they where released where as kmd have had 9 revisions to stop them knaking up but then people have done alot of miles on kmd's with no problem but the for the few extra quid i chose autotechs

Good call Gav, forgot about that! I'm really lucky to have got autotechs for £200 delivered! :D

Cool - I'll keep my ear to the ground for the next one.

I hope to have a few mods soon so I don't have to rock up in a boring stock mk2.

You should come to the "big meet" in July. Loads are going and plenty of advice and seeing others is better than advice from just on here.

The wish list is pretty much:

Corksport intake
Autotech pump
And remap... the question is where?

XOpower? BBR?
