Hi, im after buying a mazda 3 mps in the next few months. My last car was a celica GT4 st205 with 350bhp. I was hoping to get the same or more power out of the mazda. Can this be done on the standard engine? Also what mods would i need? I know i'll need a fmic, fuel pump, straight air intake, s/s exhaust with d/cat, re-map, what about the turbo? Thanks Ant

You're on the right track except the FMIC provides a RAM-air intake so you wouldn't need another induction kit on top of that Personally I wouldn't bother trying to go that far with a FWD car but then it's not my car. 350+ is a fairly exclusive club in the UK though although a lot of yanks seem to blitz that with various injection kits Why not get a 6 and aim for 400?

Think 350 is the limits of standard turbo.. Mine has rebuilt/upgrade internals and will be seeing what it can push in the very near future.. Though i have forged rods

Stock tubby, might be able to get it up to 360.If you are going for 350 i'd recommend replacing all your engine mounts with cp-e ones

Hello & Sounds pretty serious! I think if it was me personally I wouldn't be wanting more than 350hp in front wheel drive! This will interest you: viewtopic.php?f=52&t=3924380-390hp BUT could be more into the 400hp if he had colder plugs

A 300-320bhp 3mps would be right up the bum of a 350bhp gt4 i recon.
Get ur self a test drive of one

to the club. As above about 320 in the mps should keep up with a 350 gt4. Mines pretty standard and not as fast as my old impreza but i enjoy driving it just as much

Sounds good, i like how people dont know what they are. Also price's are good for such a well spec'd car.
