The brakes do sound bad, but i find Citroen and Peugeot brakes are so fierce i used to have Peugeot's every week at work and when i got back into my own car (vectra at the time) i thought someone had cut the brake lines lol So with this other one you've bought don't expect them to bite like the C4

Where abouts are you?
USB port etc.. are all easy. Remap less so unless you have a very lightly modded car.

Brakes issue - Could be seized calliper/s or, possibly, seized pads. If you leave an MPS for too long in wet conditions, the rear pads seem to "rust on" to the discs. Normally it is not a problem because they release with an embarrasing "bang". Maybe the brake fluid hasn't been changed. Whatever, I would steer clear of that garage for letting any car out like that, let alone an MPS.

I'm in south Wales. Don't think I want to mod too much. After doing a bit of research on here Il probably look at getting one of those hypertune boxes as oppose to a remap. Couple that with a panel filter and recirc valve. Also will probably upgrade the pads and stick one of those xcarlink use and Bluetooth. That should be enough for me I think I found an mps else where and am getting him delivered on fri can't wait. It's an 07 but only done 23k. Hopefully the brakes are much better than the other one I drove. They felt like they needed bleeding and possibly roughening up the pads.

Got my car and its scary how quick this thing is ! Especially in 3rd and 4th. I am soo happy with it ! Brakes are v. Good on this one. It's such a pleasure to drive. Drinks fuel tho doesn't it! The only problem I have with it is one of the headlight washers is non existent, its just a cover, I don't know why that is, but I'm not too bothered as most of you seem to have disconnected it.

Good to hear ur enjoying it mate. I find the fuel economy pretty good on mine all things considered. Maybe its due to the map?! Easily get 280-320 miles to a tank and am sure i could get 340-360 on gentle consistant run which is probably more than my standard meg 225 lux - which i took out to a party last night after not driving it for a few weeks and it feels so lame now lol

Glad you have found one.
The other car sounded like the ABS block had been replaced and not bled through properly. God help the person who does buy it. :(

Yeah me to. Im just wondering, what spec oil does the mps use? i know its 5w30 grade, but can it take semi or fully synth? And what specs does it need to meet. i.e A1, A5 and/or SL SM? Cheers
