Good afternoon all. Just thought I would post a hello to introduce myself as a new member to the forum. I have just collected my 2010 3MPS with 168miles on the clock bought from a dealership in Leicster for £17000. I did own a mk1 3MPS a couple of years ago and traded it for a Subaru Impreza but have been lured back to the Mazda family and am pretty happy with my choice! So at the moment I have no planned mods other than some led side lights and number plate lights to brighten things up. I am really suprised at the differences between the two versions of the MPS. My old MPS was an 07 Sport Aero model which felt alot more raw than my newer version, I havn't really given the new car too much as I am still bedding it in trying to build the mileage up. The new version feels pretty grown up and seems to pile on the speed quite deceptively. All in all its looking pretty good, am looking forward to doing some miles under the wheels and getting familiar with the talents the car.

Sorry the car is velocity red!
Its a mad colour when the sun hits it!
Will be picking members brains when it comes for the ever increasing need for more performance which most of us know is a slippery slope! I will keep it standard for a while whilst a chunk of the warranty is left but then..............
Just a question, probably in the wrong section but are many members from this forum going to Japfest in May?

Thanks for the welcome!
If you guys have a stand at Japfest or a parking area who would I have to ask nicely for a possible parking spot?
It would be good to come and meet some like minded people, if its full already I shall look out for the area and come say hello!

You're now part of the Velocity Red club (the best colour  ) along with me,Jimmy Hart and I think Red Top 170 has red. I saw the new WRX STI saloon this morning,parking up at Mansfield services.Was a lovely deep blue colour and looking awesome. What happened to the colour of your car that used to appear along with the type under the user ID ? I noticed it no longer appeared around the start of the new year.
