How many people declare their mods on here? I wonder how much you can get away with without the insurers having an issue. (Though I suspect just sticking a "Turbo" sticker on the back is risky with most leechy insurance companies)

If you find the right insurer a lot of mods don't change the price anyway.

rhys_himself wrote: OK, I've had my test drive and all of you are right...the low down power is almost addictive! Much more tasty than the high-end revvyness of the Rex. I'm officially swayed to the MPS I dunno how you 3 MPS owners deal with it though, all that power through the front wheels, doesn't it just screech into the far curb in a puff of smoke when you gun it in the corners?! I reckon you all must have a little case of the crazies! I've got my eye on one up north now, just have to find £3k to make up the difference. Don't suppose any of you have been crafty with credit cards before? I'm wondering if I can borrow £3k in cash from one, then get a new one with 0% for 12 months on balance transfers and shift the £3k straight away? I know when I got my car I got a Tesco Credit card which had 12 months free, but I only got a £2k limit and put my insurance on it instead, but the plan was to pay for the car on it along with a trade in...not sure about cash, as you usually get a fee for taking cash from one?
