Hi i've got a 06 plate 6mps in grey, had it for 3 years. I love it and am gutted that it has started leaking oil :(
does anyone know if there has been any recalls, read something about gaskets on turbos being recalled, but that may just be austraila.
I am worried that it will be something bad and I will be forced to sell! I have no idea where the oil is leaking from other than it being on the passenger side about level with the edge of the number plate and about as far back as the middle of the wheel!
going to take it to the local garage next week to find out what is happening!

Hello and where abouts are you? Maybe one of the local forum members will offer to take a look? (if there are any in your area that is)

Welcome. It's got nothing to do with turbo seals, it's an internal issue and as a result emits smoke from the exhaust. From the location you have said it could be a rear main oil seal but with an undertray on it could be from anywhere and just leaking from one vent in the tray. Get it looked at.
