Hello All,
First timer here so please excuse any mistakes for the time being.
I have just bought a Mazda6 MPS 06 plate with 78k miles. No wafting plumes of coloured smoke and not sounding like a diesel. I'm easily pleased.
A few rough edges but, nothing major. I think?
Driving around has been an eye opener for me. It is pretty rapid, a little thirsty and I really like the seats. All ok, until I hit 4-5k revs and there's
a clunking sound, a bit like when a rev limiter kicks in, then carries on like normal. The oil indicator flutters, e.g when taking off from traffic lights
or in traffic. Only things I can say causing any concern at the moment.
I have had a health check and service done by Mazda, which has not highlighted anything untoward. I have booked another appointment for Monday
and hope to get a better picture as to what will need to be refreshed and at what price. Update to follow.

Hi All,
I'm Jono, I found you lot through a google search. My father passed away and I have inherited his Mazda6 MPS. It was his weekend car and has only 8500 genuine miles on the clock and has probably been washed and polished more times than it has been filled up !!! ;)
