Morning Everyone...

Hopefully i will be the new custodian of a mk2 MPS within the next week...

Black, 10 plate, 1 owner, 11k on the clock....I managed to get a years warranty chucked in to, as i was slightly worried about some of the stuff i have seen wrote on the forums RE turbos etc. I think i am going to take it straight to mazda for a check and prob a service to ensure all ok.

Swapping out my much loved Toyota Corolla t Sport, but with 2 little people running around i really needed something with 5 doors... T-Sport is a great car, but when i test drove the MPS, the kick blew the T-Sport out the water

Like most others i would imagine it was a bit of a toss up between an MPS and an ST... I really only like the latest ST model and it was a bit out of my price range so opted for the MPS. I also prefer the interior of the MPS and i think the goodies you get as standard outweigh the ST...

Cheers

Dan

Hi and Welome Dan. :mpsoc:

There's a few members on here coming from both the ST's and Corollas, hope you enjoy the MPS as much as we do when you get it

Hi Dan. I have a mk2 myself and you'll love it, even more so when you make it your own and get spending. Pics?

It maybe ridiculously low mileage, but I still think it's over priced.
Get it down to 11-11.5

Good luck with the hunt :)

The one linked above, they've slapped a hefty premium on it for the low miles imho.
Even at 11 I'd be questioning it

welcome to the forum. I agree with Kenny, slightly overpriced. I just paid 10,750 with full history and 35k

Prices at the moment are a minimum of 3 grand above the "book" price. It is the same with all the decent hot hatches. That being said, the car is worth what someone will pay for it. I agree it is a tad high, but I saw them up in the 14s with that low mileage at Parkside direct and people were paying it. You should have no mechanical worries at that mileage, just make sure you got fresh oil/filter.

Parkside Direct want crazy money for them yet keep their cars in rubbish condition. Looked at a grey one which was filthy and a white which they seemed happy to rag about.
