Hi and welcome. Love that colour.. would've been my 1st choice over my white one .. easier to keep clean! :D
Personally I'd rather be Michael Barrymore's pool boy than buy a car from Arnold Shark! Keep on top of them.... Oh and as others have said PLEASE GET SOME PICS UP! :)

Ok, this is just a quick one, I will get my real camera out when she's clean and take some more.

I know what everyone says about Arnold Shark and I agree somewhat, but here is a method to my reasoning.

These cars are currently around £9,500 to £10,500 for 60k examples from non franchised garages. I know if I have any problems whatsoever then Clark has to fix them. I paid 7k for mine with 50k on, so as long as the engine is sweet (which it seems to be having done all the checks), I don't mind waiting for them to get their asses into gear to do a few minor bits. They are doing them, the most annoying part is the fact I told them what needed changing, they ignored me and the useless workshop manager then took 4 days to write a report with only one of the bits hoping for a cheap fix. Unfortunately for them (and me) he was wrong, so yes the blithering incompetence is mildly annoying. But, I know at the end of it the car will have no problems whatsoever, and it can be a bit harder getting this piece of mind from smaller garages as I know from past experience. That being said, when I look for a car now, I always try to find one at Arnold Clark, Evans Halshaw or Bristol Street Etc for that simple reason, but, each to their own!

Lastly, I would like to say thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome, I appreciate it!

car looks great and I have to say 7k is an absolute bargain, im amazed,
I still look at autotrader etc everyday for the MPS's moving and that is some price!!

when I was looking I missed a few cars as I wasn't quick enough on the good ones, lets just say i paid a good bit more than you,

great car though and much cheaper than it's rivals looked at also,, absolutley love it!

I went to Parkside direct and he wanted 9949 for the same car with black alloys and 68k on it. I thought that was a bargain at the time but just before I put a deposit down this one came up. Someone beat me to it but failed the finance so I was next in the queue! The book price in Parkers was 6700 for a 60k example, but everyone marks these up as well as most performance cars. Don't shoot me but I was originally looking at S3's, but they are way overpriced. Looked at one promising S3 in Liverpool but the car was fucked when I got there, fluid pissing out. An 08 sport back S3 (first 5 door year) was booked at 12500. People were asking that for cat d/c! So I believe the MPS is not only a nicer car, but they are a bit different, nowhere near as common, and loads better value. I must have drove 6 S3's, and the MPS is just as quick and plenty more roomy and comfortable, with better spec. Essay over!

My cousin has just bought an S3 sport back in black, I love it! BUT he paid £16k for a 2009 with 40kmiles. It's immaculate, and I'm a fan now of AWD after owning my 6.
If I had to choose between a 7k or even a 10k Mps or a 16k S3. Mps wins all day

You going to the meet Tomoz?

16k wow jeeez! They do hold value to a certain extent but that's not certainly something I could afford at this time! Good luck to him though, they are very nice and quick, the 5 doors are staying right up in price it's crazy as fook(3 door aren't far behind)! I really do like them, but they were just a bit rich for me on the initial price. Maybe next time! Nice one to your kid though, good on him I say. Would like to pop along actually and have a look at everyone else's cars, also, got a bit of a knock from the front, so I would like an opinion while I'm still in warranty. Think its rear motor mount, get a slight knock on clutch let off.
