What do you mean by the "window seals"? Anybody got a picture?

Sorry, I did think the description was vague I'll do it over lunch, but if you imagine standing by the door of the car before you get in, looking down on the window, the threshold between the door metal and glass there's a black seal running horizontally along the frame, on mine gaps have begun to appear and if you touch it wit your hand it is indeed brittle and you've to be careful not to knock more off.
Water I expect will be seeping down from the window into the door internals so I'd like to get that sorted.
I'll get a picture later though too.

Ah, think I know what you mean now. Bits seem to break off it when you lower the windows when they are iced up.
If you could put a picture up though just to confirm then that would be great.

Right here we go!, I've taken one with the wing mirror in to show context on where it is, the others are quite close up so these holes are barely finger width right now. Attachment: IMG_20151221_121050059.jpg Attachment: IMG_20151221_121044338.jpg Attachment: IMG_20151221_121028583.jpg

Cheers Mig, initial investigations have lead me to a few other MPS / Mazdaspeed / generic 6 forums with other users with the same issue, I've ran out of time now but will continue later. Might be worth me just popping to my garage and asking for a part number. EDIT : BELT MOLDING ( http://www.parkmazdaoemparts.com/parts/ ... mCallOut=1) might be a good search term to use, still searching.
