After a long 2 and a half hour drive, finaly picked up this little beauty.
Dont know a great deal about the mazda 3 mps but hope this is site is a good place to get some knoledge.
car is completly standard but has a hybrid turbo and mapped too 291bhp

Just wondering what are the first aort of mods you guys would suggest?

Car isn't completely standard then ha.
A hybrid turbo 3 should be pushing out 340-360
Any idea who mapped it?

Haha yes you know what i mean everything bar the turbo upgrade is standard.
and i have an invoice from zi motorsport for a dyno tune if that helps?

The power figure sounds about right if the only mod the car has is a hybrid K04

Dont want it stupid loud as had a glanza with straight through and screamer lol was fun but just want a little bit of noisey ( throaty) not too loud

On the 3 you can remove the 2nd cat and resonator and it sounds really good, no drone at m/way speeds either, if you have them cut out and replaced with a straight pipe it can be done for around £80, let me know if you want to hear how it sounds and il upload a vid of mine :thumbs:

Im not sure about the ebay decats tbh mate, if you want to go the route of being able to put it back to standard then you'll have to have it made up with flanges instead of a straight pipe, you'll then be looking at around £140 instead of the 80, still cheaper than a catback though :)
