Hi everyone,

I've had my 6 for a couple of years and I've been lurking on the site for ages but having finally decided to keep my 6 for the long term I've signed up as a paid memember.

I've had a love/hate relationship with the car but its about time I spend some more money on it!

I was used to high reving engines so it took me a while to get used to the power delivery of the 6 and I had a few niggly issues such as calipers sticking, leaking power steering pipes and a blown exhaust....but then i take it for a blast and I forgot about all of that!

Gav, I'm living in Carfin now but grew up in Bellshill, where abouts it Bellshill you from?

Faults are annoying but hopefully you can put those behind you and enjoy the car. A remap extends the rev band but it is still a hard mid range puller. Best come back to the forum on advice about remaps. Loads of knowledge on here.
