Hi Guys, Need a bit of advice. Just went to view and test drive this car and was wondering if anyone knows of any history or this car. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/ ... 07/3240802The engine sounded fine and went very well.smoked a little when started for a minute but stopped straight away. No smoking after test drive. Overall the are a few little issues (cosmetic) but to be expected of a car this age. Any thoughts or comments welcome. D

I don't know the car, but am very familiar with the garage as I used them as my rotary specialist for the RX-7 up until a few months ago when the rotary guy left the business and set up on his own. (That is if it's still at GroupB Motorsport in Queensferry). Fine to deal with, although like I say, the guy I know from there has left

The advert says "hybrid turbo charger"........ you may want to enquire for further details regarding this as it would not have been fitted by Mazda.

I think someone on the FB page was on about getting a company called Group B Motorsport to map their MPS. Obviously we advised not to.
Ask if it has been remapped for the hybrid turbo charger, and if there are any other modifications. Ask if HPFP internals have been fitted.
If it is remapped, ask that the map can be unlocked for you to remap is using Versatune or Cobb AccessPort, and get Justin (DJJUT) to tune the car.

I don't understand why on for sale threads they clean the exterior but leave the interior in a mess.
Hope you enjoy the car!
