Afternoon all, Thought I'd introduce myself; I'm Phil from Leamington Spa. Not currently an MPS owner but looking to purchase as soon as I find a decent one. My daily at the moment is an MR2 turbo so I'm looking for something a bit more grown up and comfortable! I'm swaying towards a 3 due to preferring the looks, it being lighter (better mpg and quicker) but am still a little put off by the VED - bloody government! I may have found a potential purchase, currently on about 60k has had various new parts including a turbo. One question though; should I be worried that it has had a new chain and tensioners but didn't have the VVT replaced at the same time. I would have though that doing them all together would have made sense? Anyway, looking forward to picking all of your brains on all sorts of topics as soon as I get myself sorted!

 Personally I'd either avoid that one or re do the whole VVT. The parts are supposed to bed in together.

Thanks guys, if I had the space for 2 cars the mr2 would be staying but as it is I don't and need something a bit more user friendly day to day. Without sacrificing too much power of course!
