Hi all, Just thought I'd say hi. I've been lurking around the forum on and off for a while and am now looking to buy a nice Mazda 6 MPS and join the fun. Seems like a nice, useful, friendly forum so hopefully I'll be sticking around.....and hopefully I'll have a nice motor soon as well. Im keeping my eyes peeled here, on eBay, A.trader and pistonheads but not seen anything perfect yet. Rust free rear arches is number one priority!  Cheers Dan

Hey dude, welcome to the forum, theres a ncie looking silver 6 on eBay at the moment at a pretty decent price too Oh and it's low tax and has some nice mods already! If it's got a solid history I'd be VV tempted had I not already gotten mine.

Welcome. Perfect may be a bit tricky given that the newest will be 7 years old but you could find a good one but you will probably have to travel.

to  Yes like Foxy said, you may need to travel to get one except you are extremely lucky to find one relatively close by Mine was a 500 miles round trip. Enjoyed the journey best on my way back.

Thanks guys. I should have probably given my "perfect" a bit of context. Lowish miles, no rusty rear arches (been there, done that on a normal 6), full history, fair price. Anything after that is up for discussion but ideally I'd like the dark silver/grey colour with the vvt already sorted and generally in (close to) standard condition. I'm ok with travelling to find one but the ebay one is a bit high on the miles for me. Anyway, thanks again for the welcomes.

135k on the clock but new engine under warranty at 35k His Mention of a "Dave" has me wondering if its one Dave Hastie has built. Shame he didn't swap the clocks from the donor too :( Gl with the search dude

New engine at 35k so that would mean the engines still done 100k, an with the car being on 135k i bet it has a fair few marks etc on it. to the btw
