Welcome to the site. Your VXR looked good. The wheels on the MPS and that look similar.

Thanks for all the advice, owners club forums are worth their weight in gold when it comes to knowledge so i shall definitely be taking all the input on board.

The best thing about my VXR was the sound of the 3" cobra exhaust so will be looking to replicate that kind of rumble if i can.....

It certainly 'felt' quicker than the MPS i test drove and bought.

Afterall the MPS is 3 years old so i suspect it may have lost a couple of horses, hence why id like to start modding it already lol

Want to at least get it stage 1 and then get used to that for a while

Well i suppose mapped cars will alway feel quicker than a stock car of the same weight ,gear ratios ,drag coefficient.Simply because there is always more area under the curve across the rev range .

Well you have your mod list from me and spamface , let the broke times begin

Many of the mps's make more than stated.
Even some of the 6 year old ones are making 265-275 stock

Just a question but can any exhaust mods be done without the need to upgrade anything else?

I'm more than happy with the power etc I'm just disappointed by the noise lol

If you want full noise , you need to go catless all the way from the turbo and probably 3" and a tiny backbox.
So you will need a fuel pump and map.

Wouldn't catless cause issues come mot emissions testing time? I bought a catless cobra for my vxr but then had to have a sports cat fitted to pass my mot
