I would just have bolt-ons (REM, Intake, exhausts etc) as has been suggested. I am particularly weary of zoom zoom boom as I wouldn't know where to start fixing the car if it happened however I am sure you can get remapped by a worthy tuner. Loads of advice on the forum

Yeah I thought about bolt ons as the standard engine note is a little dull, fancy more turbo noise and a sportier exhaust sound. Ideally though you should get a remap after changing intake/exhaust so the engine map accommodates for the modifications. I like the idea of a REM, though not keen on the vibrations so will have to research a bit more into that!

Thanks Gavin, priced one up now for just under £50 delivered, then it's a 7440 bulb if i'm right which is £6 off ebay for a red one. All in all pricey but necessary to tidy up that rear end!
