Hi all, I've just paid up to become a member and am actively looking for a 6 MPS. Keen to find one with a good set of power/handling mods on it, because if I buy stock I know I'll end up spending a fortune on it anyway. I live up in Glasgow and have a fairly arduous commute to the Scottish Borders 3 days a week. With the onset of autumn and my trusty Mazda MX-5 (with turbo and many, many mods) being poorly, I think a 6 MPS would be an ideal car for me. I am pretty confident with working on cars having done most of the engine/turbo/mapping/suspension work on the MX-5 myself, and I also have access to a great local DIY garage with multiple ramps in it. I like my Mazdas too, love my MX-5 and think an MPS is a natural other car to have. Looks like a good community in here. I look forward to participating and no doubt spending a fortune on this 'sensible' car choice

Thanks. Gotta be a 6 for me, much as I like the idea of the 3 (and seriously considered it too). My wife previously had a Focus ST that I remapped, and it went very nicely, but there are a lot of wheelspinny roads I need to negotiate, so I'm very keen on the 4wd idea

You are right to fancy the awd facility. The 6MPS is also quite heavy which is not good for mpg but can help in slippy conditions.

Mate, it really is. He's poured a fortune into it and he's very picky at things being just right so it's a good one. All is mechanically sound and if your will to put a 5th injector in, it'll be a demon as it's got all supporting mods for it, which lol push it over 500bhp with luck
