Welcome along. Not much to look out for on the mk2. But check for uneven tyre wear as they can have tracking problems

When the engine is warm, leave it to idle for 10 mins. If you get white smoke then it could be turbo seals. As it is a mk11 than it should be OK, but worth checking.

Welcome to the site. Get the tyre pressure sensors changed if they haven't been already. Other than that, there isn't any real common issues, but the turbo was replaced on mine under warranty after it totally went. But doing the above test would show up if it were on it's way out.
