Hi all!!
My name is George, new to this forum and I own a red 2008 mps3. Still in love with my car...;-)
Living in the Netherlands and like to go to the German autobahn once in a while.
Here in The Netherlands it is not possible to use it the way it should be used....:-(

Lately I am playing with the idea, whether it would be possible to make it my mps3 into a hybrid??
Because the rear wheels are not part of the drive train, in theory, it would be possible to fit a electromotor on the rear wheels??

On youtube you can find a lot of videos converting a normal car into a full electric car.
The motor is ussually connected to the gearbox...:-?

Not saying that I will do it but am just playing with the idea and see what would be possible... I think it would be fantastic to have a hybrid mps3...:-)

Greetz,
George

Welcome

Sounds an interesting plan but I have no idea if possible and what it would cost.
I thought electric would cost a small fortune though with batteries etc.

Anything is possible but at big cost I'd imagine, and it'd add some serious weight.

Welcome along, the electric idea sounds good in theory, but I don't think it would be a cost effective thing to do.
