Hello! Nice to meet you all! I have been a member in April but have never gotten around to introduce myself. Well I have had my True Red MKI MPS for just over 9 months and it is terrific! besides the rather (unnecessarily) hard suspension, but getting use to it now! I am in Stirling, Central Scotland where, I think, there isn't a lot of the mps's around. I would like to mildly tune the car to 290bhp and 330 lb/ft. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers!

it feels wrong to welcome you seeing as you have been here longer than I have, but what the hell !!! 290bhp is relatively easy. You will be wanting the short ram intake and a turbo inlet pipe, the second cat delete (see Ross27's decats) and a remap.

How much should it cost me roughly and what effect does it have on fuel consumption, emissions and general engine longevity given the additional power (stress) so to speak. I was thinking BBR stage 1 but.......not sure

I also saw another red MKI mps with gloss black alloys yesterday. Meeting up would be great though as I'd like to do some things to the car but have no one around to guide/assist/suggest....etc. Plus regarding posting on the for Sale/Wanted section, I want to sell rather than buy but I will be buying more later I think. How do I go about subscribing? I really haven't got a clue how stuff works yet :(

SRI/TIP - £300-350 Decat - £90
and the remap depends where you go. I suggest Gunther at Total MPS based on you location, who also happens to be good value for money.

Tomorrow or Sunday would be okay as well if you are unavailable today. I was going ask about dyno, remap, decat etc and also how much to expect to getting the car up to 285-290 bhp & 320-330lb/ft. Also is your car modified?

I would love to go to Gunther but we have unresolved issues at the moment. I bought Brembo big brake kit from him for the 3 mps. I asked if it would fit on the stock wheels without modifications and he guranteed it will fit. Got the part but it won't fit. Returned it but he is refusing to refund me since April saying there is brake fluid in the calipers. Anyway............ is there anyother decent place for remap? Cheers!
