Hi. Took delivery yesterday of Mazda 3 mps in black. Jan 2010 reg. 120 miles only.

Part-exd Porsche Boxster. My second Mazda 3 mps.

Just wanted to introduce myself.

Hi Guys and thanks for all the welcomes. The new generation 3 mps feels quite a bit different from my first one. A lot more 'controlled' (is this a good thing he wonders?). Gear shift is definitely improved. Lots more on board goodies too. Twin exhausts suit the car. Obviously the bonnet scoop makes the car look more purposeful too. It is still a VERY fast car though, even without any tweaking. Must confess not too sorry to see the Boxster go. Boxster was very quick off from a standing start but nowhere near as much poke between 40 and 80 (sorry 70 I meant to say). Gripwise, as you would expect, the Mazda loses out (at least in the dry) but I've got to re-learn my driving techniques so that I can get the best out of it.
