Hello,

After coveting a Mazda 6 MPS for a number of months I took the plunge yesterday and bought a silver, high mileage (97,000), 55 plate.

The alloys on one side have been pretty badly kerbed and will be refurbed in the coming months. The under engine cover is missing a chunk at the front (I’m guessing due to speed bumps). Apart from that it all looks pretty tidy.

I would also like to try and hook up my iPhone 5 to make calls and listen to podcasts.

I have a 300 mile Christmas journey on Sunday, so will get a chance to actually get to know it (mostly sat in London traffic!).

Any advice on wheels, plastic bits, and radio - plus anything else a noob should be aware of - will be gratefully received.

Wheels are about £50 each for refurb or coop is selling some brand spankers although not standard ones in for sale section.
