Hello guys. Just thought I'd quickly introduce myself.. I've only just registered on this site so I'm hoping for plenty of help and advice on purchasing my first Mazda. I currently own an EP3 Civic Type R in cosmic grey and after 4 years of ownership, I feel it's time to change. 'Hot hatches' are my thing and from the Civic, I wanna stay Jap and get myself a Mazda3 MPS. I quite like the look and have heard nothing but good things about them. However, I actually know very little about the MPS. For example, since looking at the MPS, I have noted that there is an 'Aero Model'. What does this have over a standard MPS? I have a budget of around 7k so I'm hoping to pick up a tidy example within my budget. Ideally, I'd like a 57/08 plate with less than 50k on the clock and a FSH. Any information on what I should look out for etc would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and The Aero is lowered, smaller but sportier wing mirrors, hats about it. You considered the MPS 6? It's 4WD

Some people say yes, others say no, try it and see, but only 1 click up, don't wanna be driving about with the h/brake on

Lol.. I see this thread has been hijacked!
Thank you for the replies guys.. I like the 6 but I think the 3 is for me. I like smaller cars.
I've been reading around the site that the MPS can be picked up for some very good prices due to the current climate and the car trade being very much a buyers market. The Aero Model is one that appeals to me.
What are the differences between the facelifted version and the pre-facelift?
Has anyone owned both the MPS and the EP3 Type R? How do they compare?
Cheers.
