Hi Guys,
Regarding my shudder and vibration when accelerating hard in first gear between 4000rpm and 5500 rpm the car has had another visit to the dealer and they cannot find anything wrong with it. Checked thoroughly apparently and nothing. (Dont get the feeling they know what they are doing ''Cowboys'')
This issue is bugging the hell out of me

and I am eager to find a solution. I am worried something is gonna go bang or break. Can anyone suggest a suitable garage in the North East I can take it to or do any of you guys local to me have the expertise to take a look.
I have the rear diff cut switch installed and this does cure the problem when accelerating hard, however most of the time the front wheels spin up so its got to be bone dry and in a straight line. This makes me think that it is not tranny related and points more towards the dog transfer box / prop / u joint / mount being out of alignment when under the most load in first gear. Surely it cant be the diff either as it would do this all the time.
Getting all 4 wheels balanced this week and tire pressures are fine. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated?
Thanks,
M.
