Hi I'm going to pick up my Mazda 3 MPS on Monday. It is the only black mps in Gran Canaria, it is plenty of fun to drive this car on the Canaries twisting mountain roads. Do you think Mazda 3 MPS is specially difficult to drive, (I have read this in some cars magazines)??

Welcome mate,I love going on holiday to all the canary isles.its not difficult to drive at all,I'd say if your coming from a 1.0 fiesta it'll be a huge step up but in general its a cracking car to drive.you've bought the best and fastest colour too.

Welcome. Don't forget to use superunleaded only. I think you have 100 octane there. We have to be satisfied with 99 at best. Something special about having the only black one.

Thanks, any piece of advice is welcome. There are no many mps drivers here.

1.17 per litre. That's about 94p per litre - crikey!

Yeah I'm off to Tenerife in October, always gutted when I see the cost of fuel out there.the roads are in far better condition than ours but that hot weather won't be the best for our cars.

If you go to the North of the islands there are twisting roads and no so hot weather as you think. It often snows in winter at the top of the islands, (at least in Gran Canaria and Tenerife), and there are some lonely mountain roads that I love.

Any idea how much the boat costs from the mainland in Spain or Portugal to the canary isles?
