Hi, I'm Chris, and I'm looking at getting a 6 MPS. I currently drive a 2002 323f 2.0 Sport, and am a member of Club323f. I'd really like to know; What should I look for when buying an MPS? Are there any bad points (in mine, the callipers get a bit sticky, and rust is my enemy )? What mods should I look at going for first? What sort of boost can I run on stock internals (IF I were to boost mine, I can only get around 8psi before )? Thanks in advanced, and I hope to be joining officially soon! P.S. this is my current beast; not the fastest, but good fun

Hi, welcome along, there plenty of nodding potential. As for internals, is massively debatable on what they can take, its more down to the quality of the tune.

Welcome aboard dude. I had a 323f swapped it out for a civic, always regretted it!

But seriously, welcome along. The 6 can suffer bad rust on the underside but can easily be sorted out. As for other things to watch for, the turbo seals, if you get to test drive one, after your drive, ask to leave on idle for 10-15 mins, if it smokes//smells - walk away! Read up on the "vvt problem" Though it's not a particular common fault, it isn't unheard of and unfortunately I had the problem, sorted it now though but cost a fair few £££. Ask away and you'll get all your answers right here I'm sure, as there are some very knowledgeable/helpful people here, though some just spam away, you know the kind, theres always one on every forum!

Thank you all for the welcome! The sport is a good crack, but I want boooooost!
I've done a bit of trolling through, and have some good ideas of what to look for now!
Only problem now is the nearest one for sale is in brum, nearly 150 miles away :(
