Cheers guys, I have been looking around and it seems for around £5500 - £6500 you can pick up a decent mileage example. Ive read to look out for a smokey turbo, anything else major to watch out for? What sort of mileage should i walk away from, there are some out there with less than 50k, thats ideally what I want. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Have possibly found the perfect car, its a long long way away from me but seems to be pretty good. Insurance is dirt cheap so looks a winner :)

Don't let the distance put you off at all, I did 270 miles to get mine on Wednesday. Bribe a mate to take you up there rather than getting trains it's much more fun having company, and you get someone to play with on the way home (only up to 70mph of course).

We did 540 miles in 10 hours and used £190 worth of fuel. Would have been a less fuel if we'd taken his van instead of Type-R but the van threw up the check engine light 2 hours before we were due to set off (it hasn't returned since so I think it just didn't want to go up north).

Yup looks good from the pics, I travelled just under 800 miles round trip to get mine and was well worth it.

If possible call them and get all the info on the car, pictures of all the wheels, loads of the car etc

Would be boring without a playmate on the way home............obviously under 70 lol ;) Have to find a buyer for my motor then jobs a good'un

Just noticed that you're in Horsham; I'm only down the road in Storrington, and would love to see it when you get it!

Yeah no worries, think its not going to be until September time as need to sell my car first and its due an MOT and Service in September, as well as road tax so that way can get the most for it. But would definitely bring it down. Sham there isnt many local people so I could have a proper look at one.

Hopefully off to Hemel Hempstead on Saturday to look at one and maybe trade my car in : eek2 : will have to see though.

I drove from Stafford to Brighton for mine went down in my 3 Sport and back in the 3 MPS. Surprisingly I used about the same amount of fuel each way.

Right have found a MPS6 and arranged to go see it tomorrow morning, looks a cracking car! Metallic grey, 34000 miles on a 56 plate, and not too far from me either!

Only a bit excited :)
