Staying standard didn't last long. Just ordered an XCarLink (and bluetooth add-on) and a Bluetooth OBDII Interface (to use with my phone). Nothing too exciting so far lol

Haha, I like to make my intro's a bit of an insight.

Keep forgetting to say thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I would put up some pictures but I haven't had a chance to break out the cleaning supplies yet, maybe this afternoon if it stays dry.

Hello & :welcome: along mate. Wow you like to type

It's good to see a forum car going to a good home, plenty of info on here so enjoy having a look around and you will be tempted to mod

Actually while waiting for pics of the new car here's the others:

Primera SX
This is probably the biggest reason why you should ignore when I say I'm not planning to mod it. This was always going to stay standard, then I joined NPOC. So joining here has probably sealed the MPS6's fate too lol

Cosmetic mods:
Full GT bodykit
JDM Xenon Headlights
Plasma dials
Genuine Nissan wind deflectors
Bonnet lifters
Dezent Type-V 17” wheels

Performance mods:
Nissan JDM strut brace
A&S Cold air intake
Apexi cone filter
Long life catback
Decat
Toyosports manifold and downpipe
BC Coilovers
Grounding kit
D1 spec rad cap
B&M short shifter

Ice:
Kenwood KDC-6047U head unit
30GB iPod
JVC 6x9s in parcel shelf
Alpine 13cm door speakers

Toyota MR2 Anniversary Edition T-Bar:

A lot less modified than the Primera. As it's an limited edition I really had no plans to do anything to it but drive and service. But the standard catback split and a replacement was £1500 so I went with the £300 aftermarket option. After that a few more things changed but it can all go back to standard.

Mongoose Catback
Japspeed Decat
Cheap ebay steering wheel
Kenwood KDC-6047U head unit (liked it in the Primera so much I bought another)
Alpine 13cm component speakers in the doors
Kenwood 6x9s behind the seats
Cheap ebay induction kit

Didn't used to. 4 years ago I knew nothing, but now I'd say I'm competent enough to do almost anything. Pretty much the only thing I've not done on the Primera is a full engine strip down, but I'd give it a go if I had a hoist, stand and garage.

Anyway finally:

All 4 of the cars I own or part own (me and my mum split the price of the golf to have as a runaround, we both hate it so it doesn't get used very often  ).

I've tried. Mum doesn't want to get rid of it because it's useful to have a car with a boot (she has a convertible), even though the Primera has a massive boot especially with the seats down. But in fairness she wasn't insured on it and when she finally was she hated it, too hard and too loud :D

And in the car's defence I only hate it because it's had every single common fault a golf can have, which I've fixed everytime. It's actually really nice to drive, just lacking in power (1.6 8V engine is gutless to say the least).

I am indeed.

I don't spend much time on HJC, been to one of their meets at Portsdown Hill in the Primera, it wasn't appreciated

My sister lives in Sandhurst, I'll keep an eye open when I'm over that way.
