Hows it going everyone!

New here, infact I don't have an MPS at the moment but I have been doing a lot of work on one for a member who frequents this board and he suggested to come and check it out. I have loads of pics taken of the work I have done so thought would be good to share if anyones bothered lol. Also can offer some technical advice with ref to fitting parts/etc as I work with cars pretty much all the time.

Hope to get more involved! Btw the car is brilliant I've taken it on many runs and thoroughly enjoy it every time!! Maybe get myself one in the future hmmmm

The car in question: Mazda 3 MPS Stock at this point

Image

In the air to have these babies fitted, Corksport downpipe and 2nd decat:

No more pictures of it fitted sadly as got too carried away with the fitting and forgot to carry on with progress pictures!

Next, fit oil pressure, oil temp, and boost gauges using 3 gauge pod. It looks brilliant and almost as if it was meant to look like this from the factory!

Next, remove top mount intercooler and replace with front mount:

Bumper removed & front view:

Front mount in place and pipes being attached:

More pictures tomorrow once bumper is re attached. Also have fitted grooved discs all around but pictures to be added soon once I have painted the callipers! Enjoy!

Did you wire his gauges in? He was asking me for some advice the other day, and by the sounds of it, they werent connected properly.

Yeah I wired his gauges in, which was working fine till a while later when apparently he had an issue with his slave cylinder which gave up, which was repaired by a friend of his and the oil temp or oil pressure gauge (I can't remember which one now) had since stopped working correctly. When he next brought it round to me I had a look and the wire from the sensor in the sandwich plate was not plugged in, so plugged it in and good as gold once again.
