Hi there. I am looking at getting a Mazda 3 mps. The problem is i have never actually seen one on the road, I don't know anyone who has one and there are none at any garages near me. Is there enough room in the back of the car for 2 kids under 2? And how big is the boot? If anyone is in the kings Lynn area, Norfolk, and would like to let me have a look around the car and take me for a spin it would be much appreciated!!! Youngy

Hello and welcome,I worked down at British sugar years ago,had a great time down your neck of the woods.
There is more than enough room for your kids and the boot is excellent.

I think it's roomy and rather deceptive from the outside, particularly if you've only seen one in pictures or videos.
The boot is actually a good bit bigger than I thought before going to view my one so absolutely no complaints from me in any department.
However beware - if you do get a run in one, you WILL want to buy one, so be prepared! :P

Hello and welcome along, if want loads of room then consider the 6? But the 3 is still plenty roomy.

I'm in King's Lynn. I've got a 6 and you're more than welcome to have a ride in it before you talk yourself into a 3. :-)

Im after a mk1 ideally. Not too bothered about the colour but preferably not silver. From research into them they are great value for money. I would love to have a look round the 6. The reason I was edging towards the 3 is there doesn't seem to be many 6's for sale!!! And my missus thinks it is too long!!!

They are good value to buy, don't forget though they are a performance car so running costs are quite high. Worth every penny though

I am prepared for the costs. 24 so insurance is quite cheap, and last 2 cars were Evo 5 and seat Leon cupra r mk1. I just need more room in the back for another baby seat whereas in my Leon I can't get a seat behind the drivers seat when I'm in. It's the tax costs which are a shocker!!

That's where the mk2 comes in then as its in a lower tax bracket.

I've said this before and I shall bore you all again Tax is NOT a shocker its a few extra quid a month and I really dont see the arguement to buy a different car because of the tax. Petrol will be the biggest expense, if used a lot, and then when things go wrong e.g look at the VVT failure costs etc. CV joint on the 3 cost me over £400 as you have to buy the whole shaft, its things like this that make it expensive. BUT its a great car and if I hadn't been putting silly amounts of super unleaded in mine would happily still be running it
