:welcome: Good luck With the search you won't be disappointed when you get one.
On the Hypertech subject I've just got one and installed it on my 6 and it has made a noticeable difference and definately pulls better especially at the top end of the rev range. I think it's a good place to start as I'm only planning on having it for a few months till I either decide on versatuner or taking it to xo

That's my plan too, I am familiar with both Bluefin and Dreamscience for the Focus RS / ST and both work in the same way, so until I've made a few modifications to warrant a completely bespoke map I'll be happy with the hypertech. Although I would be tempted to buy the versatuner in the future purely for the datalogging potential as that's sometimes invaluable information!

The last few cars I have owned haven't set the world on fire but I already have a real buzz about one of these and thankfully have the viewing arranged for Tuesday evening and a deposit ready and waiting! :kick:

Good luck with the viewing. They are very understated cars mine never fails to put a smile on my face especially when your upsetting BMW drivers

lol I've owned a few BMWs in my time from an M3 to dirty diesel but I fully support upsetting the majority of their owners!

The understated factor is one of the main points that appeal to me :)

Can't wait and it's the first time I've been this excited about a car in a brave few years.

I had word today that the cheque for my previous (written off) car has been processed and is on it's way to me, so as soon as that clears I'll be there to pick it up within the hour :) I wish I knew if that'd be 1-2 days or a week :(

However I'm in a slight pickle with a decision over whether to drive it straight to the body shop to tidy up two minor scuffs on the rear bumper, which is all it needs to sit pretty much spotless. Part of me wants to have the car for a while and enjoy it but if I take it straight there I can continue to make use of the courtesy car that I have for the two days the car will be in.

Decisions Decisions :P

I've a Hypertech on its way and been looking at air filters tonight, I can this semi-sensible purchase turning into a 'build' thread of an ongoing longer term project :D

Cheque arrived and deposited today - won't be ready to withdraw until Wednesday 30th but have arranged to pick the car up that evening at 7:30pm.

Finally all set in stone so feel alot more settled now!
