Hello
Im Rick, live in ringwood near bournemouth.
My wife and i are looking to change her celica somtime towards the end of the year.
At the moment we a debating between a scooby and a 3mps.
If we got a 3mps it would be the mk one, although tax is stupidly high, insurance balances it out.
We enjoy doing two or 3 air field days a year so would like opinions on what the 3 is like on track?
A lot of people, who havent driven one, say that they suffer really badly with under steer? what is the handling like?
Are they reliable enough to be thrashed round an airfield all day? are there any common issue?
What sort of front brakes do they come with ?
Any info on that type of stuff would be muchly appreciated.
Cheers
Rick

Stick an uprated rear anti roll bar on it and all those under steer issues disappear!!

:welcome: to the forum.

The aero handles better than the non aero due to better springs and a few guys have done some track time without issues.

Obviously it can be set up with better suspension but I don't remember to much understeer when I had mine on just a standard set up.

Although never tracked I would have been comfortable that it would happily of lasted a decent pounding around a track .

Have a look around forum as there are a couple of things to look out for like smoking at idle but overall quitereliable cars
