Not really. I lost £6k on the RX8 in 18 months. Glad I didn't buy it new though. Went from £27k down to £15k in 10 months when I bought it. I thought I'd got a cracking deal. 7,500 miles, 07 plate bought in June 08 for RX8 231 Kuro £15k.

Sweet!!!

Then about 3 weeks later I found out I was gonna be a daddy!!

I held on as long as I could but when my baby came upto 18 months old I needed to get a more "practical" car.

Came to sell and I was lucky to get £10k. Really lucky.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure I'll be coming home with it! And I'll defo put pics up once I fathom out how it's done!

Gavin: I presume when u say people u mean clarkson? Haha. No, they don't mate, admittedly they don't go round corners like a atom but they aren't bad at all to be honest. Straight line speed in mine (327bhp) is immense. Torque is phenomenal. Rumors were that top gear pulled the fuse for traction control which disabled the electronic suspension hence the under steer he got. Even tho he would accelerate into the corners rather than out of them, the vxr got a bit of a bum deal with him reviewing! Anyway, looking forward to new beginnings with the MPS, a car me AND my wife agree on coz she hates the vectra!! Also it will save us in fuel, £200 ish a year in road tax and £80 odd in insurance (per month!!!!!!).

Well, after 674 miles of driving yesterday, I finally got her home last night! What a machine! Over the moon with it, shame it's raining today!
