Hi Everyone, I thought I would sign up and check out these forums. First time buying a Mazda but fell in love with it after a test drive. Out of curiosity how should I drive it and for how long so that I can break it in well so as not to ruin it? Cheers, Steven

to the forum. It should tell you in the owners manual about the run in period. I had an rx8 from new and this was 600 miles of carefull, different rev driving, not sure what the 3 period is but the style of driving will probably be the same. First oil change is at 3000 miles.

After the 3K service there is another one when the odometer shows 9K or 12 months has elapsed FROM NEW.
