Hi all, picked up my new pearly white with black alloys the other day. Got about 10 miles down the A380 and "CLUNK" a stone hits the roof. I couldn't believe my luck, I own the car for 15 minutes and there is a 2mm stone chip in the roof, absolutely gutted. But I have to say, what a car, I traded in a 1.6 2010 Mazda 3 Sport petrol for this one and damn this thing moves.

Welcome. I also had an eventful first 2 days, on my drive home a transit van going the other way flicked up a stone and i saw it coming in slow motion but nothing I could do, stone chip in windscreen. On day 2 I was seeing what the car could do and saw a pheasant at the side of the road, so slowed down yet the retard ran out in front and i hit it at 50mph.

Wow these cars seem to attract stones like magnets!!! We seem to get a lot of stupid pheasants around here too.

Mazda paint is rubbish compared to others... Also you'll see lots of rusty Mazda's, not many rusty honda's...

I saw a Mazda 3 the other week - at someone's house I was working, fairly new... 56 plate or something... Rust was really bad. It made me go and waxoyl my arches and check for rust. terrible. I'll take pics next time I see it... A bit worrying. Maybe been completely neglected I see old Honda's that have no rust all the time, Definately better paint/rust protection in my opinion The mazda wheels are an absolute joke and they just replace with more of the same I still love my car however
