I'd get in on that sure group buy, bargain price :)

Corksport are only company that do the box, I'm not a fan but they sell quite well...

The corksport airbox is a bit ill fitting to say the least. Ive only ever heard of problems like rubbing, holes not lining up etc etc.

I really dont see the benefit of the heat sheilds. As JamesG mentioned to me before, think how quickly the volume of air in the engine bay is removed at WOT. The car is flowing around 250g/s. It would literally be a few seconds.

Also, the Sure items are all Silicone, which will absorb less heat when compared to the equivelant ones from corksport etc.

Wire Reinforced Silicone
The silicone hose is constructed from high performance reinforced 4 ply silicone. The silicone acts as a barrier between metered air and engine bay heat; the cooler, the better. The Aeros™ silicone hose is available in Stealth Black, Designer White, SURE Blue, & Ignition Red.

This looks like a great intake from Forge

Image

Is anyone running this right now? Does it come with the turbo intake pipe (cant tell from the image)

I did a back to back dyno on my civic a couple of yeas ago with a CAI and velocity stack (the trumpet at the end of the intake) and it made an extra 8hp over a regular CAI. Shows they have done some R&D imo

Not a fan of those type that sit that low to the ground as they may suck up water if you are not too careful

Been for a proper drive in the sun today, the traction control ant half over the top isnt it? I've got dunlops rather than bridgestones it seems, not sure if I rate them.

Quick snap just for the sake of it :)

I recently ordered and received my SRI & TIP from here, took a little while for delivery, it had to come from the states. Arrived ok though. One or two have had problems from them yes, would u let them work on my car, no, would I order parts from them again, yes. Though you have to chase them up rather than them let you know how long for delivery etc.
