Can I just say thanks to whoever keeps this forum running, and anyone who has offered advice on my beat up old car. The forum archive is a huge gold mine of information that is continuing to be an invaluable resource as I try to get the car back into shape.

Such a shame it's not like it used to be.
You could pretty much have a live chat in the threads on here it was that busy, going back about 7 years ago though. The likes of Facebook took over.

As spam man said, used to be a very lively forum.

As for Facebook taking over is also true but there's also alot more disputes (politely put) on there.

We're also banned from the Facebook group (long story im not going into really).

But the forum is a much more sociable environment and the people on here actually try to help you, rather than opinions and do it this way or that way you get on Facebook.

I remember those days well, I sold my Mk2 to my sister (Got it back now with some battlescars on the bodywork) just when FB started taking over.

was surprised to see how dead it has gotten on here. shame mazdaspeed forums has gone belly up as there was soo much tuning info on there too.

Didn't even know it went belly up, just gone to log in on there and you're right, what happened? That place was a goldmine
