It's wise to use the minimum rated octane fuel as mentioned in the owners handbook.... This is 98ron. Using a lesser quality fuel with a lower octane rating may lead to instances of detonation and will definitely lead to a loss in overall power.
The idea of using a higher octane fuel is that it makes it more resistant to detonation and burns in a more controlled manner compared to the supermarket 95ron stuff that just isn't upto the job in comparison.
The best fuels, as proven from the MPS's I've tuned, is Momentum or VPower.
