Hi all,
My name is Gaz, as I write this my new car is getting it's mot done. All done through the garage I am buying it off. The car it's a 2010 mk2 bl if I am correct. I'm very new to Mazda I have owned the Mazda 3 ts but that's it. I have had a few mates with the rx7 and mx5 but that's about it. I stumbled onto this car when my wife said she would like our family car to be another Mazda 3. So as you do I got on all the sites wanting a change. When I caught Mps in the title of a sale.(oooo what's this 2.3t you say, 260bhp you say! mmmmm) I looked into it more and realised its a little sleeper in disguise. So booked a few viewings over the last week and I found my new baby and she is amazing I haven't got the car yet. I have already had mats made new (originals missing). Exhaust ,window shields front/rear ,mps mud flaps and a few other pieces. Hopefully all going well the cars out of mot today and I pick up tommorow. I feel like a kid at Xmas no pun intended. I have fell in love ,now there are two cars in my life my 1998 Toyota supra facelift N/A soon to be T and my newish Mazda 3 mps ,I'm a happy man. I have joined this forum to learn the way of the 2.3t Jedi's have a tinker and make it mine to stay. So a big hello and I look forward to picking some brains and hopefully meeting some off you.

Thanks

Gaz

I half agree.....pic of both please

Do you have many plans for the MPS? I'd be interested in a progress thread if you're turbo'ing the Supra as well!

I do like a Mk 3 Supra. A '98 must be a Mk 4.

The supra is a 1998 supra n/a Mkiv 2jzge engine with all the facelift bits. It was an import with just over 36,000 miles on the clock it's a clean example. I am currently part piling as I have recently left the army. This is due to an injury so just sorting car ,work and new house. Its going to be very busy in January. I have said I'm just going to get Xmas out the way as soon as I have a garage the supra is getting a good make over. From tires to roof with a turbo kit hopefully going well it's currently at my parents house feeling sorry for its self.

A few of the mps, I absolutely love this little hot hatch. It is going to take a bit getting back into a front wheel drive with alot of torque. I can not wait I will get some better pics when I have the keys.

Just to add I did a little bit of research on the jetex exhaust. I have bought one as the exhaust on the mps is looking a little bit tired. What's your thoughts on the jetex

The plans in place for me now is the mps has to be made mine. Power will be looked at after I have driven around for bit and got used to its crazy amounts of buttons and switches. I will add a few pics of exhaust ,mats and mud flaps. I have also bought a heat gun and some 35% tint to do the lights with hopefully will go nice on a white car. I plan on getting a Cobb plug in for it and having a look at front mount inter cooler and bov's but that's later in the 2017 year. As for the supra that's a long term project. The end goal is a 600bhp road legal track car. Full ridox kit and roll cage and all the nice things in life but there is no dead line set in stone for it. I have had the supra for ruffly 4 yrs and I don't plan on selling her in my life time. plans do change but that one sticks no matter what. Due to my injury I can't do as much and for long periods of time so slow and steady from now on. All work will be done by myself apart from Dino's and electrical changes (not my strongest area).

I'm not convinced on the wheels on the Supra, but otherwise it looks great! Must admit I'm a bit jealous (especially given that you're charging it) - sure it will be epic!

MPS looks great as well - I'm a fan of both mk1 and 2 in white

Thank you for your comments means alot. The wheels on the supra are hideous very much agreed. They are going to be changed for gtr-d's on driftworks site with a nice offset. That's further down the road I currently have all new fully adjustable arms to fit. alot of new brace bars too. first I need to strip back the 5mm thick underbody seal it's had it's day lots of fun without a scabbler and a good compressor. So scraping tools and blisters are on the menu lol. Thought i would add another pic when I was in northern Ireland with friends

An update on the mps just had a phone call should be picking it up today so snail trails home me thinks mmmmm boost. :ihih:

Well it's been awhile I apologise been very busy sorting my life out. I have bought a few play toys for the mps. The supra is on hold for awhile due to family things. Fitted the Jetex cat back exhaust pic is dark due to finishing late on it the original exhaust is a pig to get off. Had to cut in two places just to remove.
