Hi all it's Ben and recently bought a 3. Im parking on the driveaway but insurance knows in garage. is that something i need to change in the policy? can anyone suggest a good place nearby for bodywork done?

Yes, you need to inform your insurance about where you park you car as it could invalidate your insurance if you don't.

Welcome to the forum. I have a choice of driveway or road for parking mine and when I looked into the insurance road was cheaper (I've heard that it's better as car thieves don't know which house to rob for the keys).

Welcome to MPSOC.
I would tell your insurers, as if it was stolen it may cause you issues (may not invalidate) as to why it wasn't in the garage.
I think it was Flux wouldn't cover me unless my car was garaged.

to  .......insurance usually cheaper if it's parked on street...insurance look at it as if in drive or garage thiefs know wat house to break into for keys...also with keeping it in a garage U. Would be surprised to how many claims go through for roofs collapsing onto car or things being stored above car falling on top.....
