Hi all,

Bought my 07 plate 3 MPS Aero about 7 months ago, having previously had a Sport. Absolutely love it, even after having to tax it! Only mods so far are cutting the large silencer out of the exhaust. Looks like a great forum full of helpful people, looking forward to ramming my head full of useless knowledge to bore somebody with in the future... Many members around the central Scotland area?

:welcome: to the forum! Car looking quite nice and polished. The tax is a lot of money but they are nice cars as you perhaps already know. You should update your profile so we know where you are. There is quite a number of us in central Scotland now! (MKIs, MKIIs, and MPS 6)

Any plans for it yet?

Cheers guys, will update the profile tonight.

I'm totally undecided on it, part of me wants to not bother messing about with it and another part of me constantly demands more power! Don't really want to get into decatting and stuff tho as I can be bothered going back to having to fart about at MOT time.

A lot on here are saying that the Cobb AP should be the first mod. One way of looking at it is that it is not a mod really but correcting the slightly dodgy OEM map. After that you can ask one of the learned members on here to look at your logs to make your car run even better. When you come to sell the car you can return it to OEM and sell the Cobb on. Currently there is a queue of people after used Cobbs.

I've seen your car quite a few times parked there.

I've only seen a couple about here, yours being one of them! Dunno if you've noticed but I've got a scuff on the passenger side oof the bumper that was there when I bought it. Always meant to get it in and sorted but never got round to it. Yours stock?

How much roughly would I be looking at for the Cobb AP? Would I be better doing a few mods at the same time, intake wise etc? The fuel pump internals are pish are they not?

They can handle the fueling needed up to about 300bhp (roughly)

XTR Nate (a trader on here and Facebook) provides Cobb ap v3 and HPFP internals together for an amazing price of £660 delivered

I've counted 12 mps's in the wee county bud. There's only 2 of us on the forum though. I've only driven past your car so I've no really paid much attention to your body work. You should take it to fozy's and find out how much he'll take to fix it.

I've got sri (short ram intake) tip (turbo inlet pipe) 2nd decat, rear engine mount. I've also got a short shift plate, I just need a heavy gear Knob.

I've still to fit rear anti roll bar, egr delete, spin on oil filter conversion kit and sandwich plate. I've got gauge pod and 3 gauges to fit aswell.

Just remembered you make it 3 lol. Fill out your profile bud. Also I highly recommend you become a member as there's loads of useful threads that you can't access whilst being a non paying member.

Yeah I second that  . Take it to Foz he is great. He fixed mine when some idiot keyed it last month. He did a terrific job and at a very reasonable price :)

I'll give them a shout. Think my father in law might know the bloke that owns it now I think about it. Need to get quotes to get the little dents some shitty roof bars put in my roof sorted! Luckily the company that supplied them are paying for that...
