Hi all just wanted to say a hello to all. I picked up my 59 reg 3Mps MkII in the best colour Red. That's just my opinion. Its completely standard. Well until tomorrow when its getting a custom second cat delete and resonator box removed. Just want a bit more zoom zoom noise lol.
The week after its going in for some paint work. The wheels are going dark gray along with the rear lowere defuser and mirror caps and fog lamp bezels and some interior bits.
I have got some performance plans but after reading on here looks like the priority is HPFP and the rest can follow.
The goal would be around 350Bhp. But to be honest its more about how it feels to drive im not to fussed about the figures. Everyone needs a goal.
I am from Essex so looking forward to some meets this summer.
Well thats enough from me wittering on.

Welcome

You want 350bhp be prepared to pay . Il do a rough bit of maths now not including any customs or shipping.

hpfp -300
tmic - 150(3 left) normally 300
htp 3.5" intake $275
3 port electronic boost solenoid 100
downpipe -120
2nd decat - 90 iirc
cobb v3 500
3bar map sensor and harness 90
gtx28 turbo (reliable power as it will be understressed) 1250
actuator - no idea
ngk plugs -28
oils - ~ 70 (if ECP and opie oils have sale )
rear engine mount - 100
catch can - 120

Probably missed a lot of stuff of there to .
Then add shipping from various places and fitting then more money to get it mapped combined with logging fuel .

Enjoy ownership

welcome to the forum

GTX28 turbo isn't needed to make 350, BNR will make that easily with room for more

Why u kno read !!

In all seriousness a £900 hybrid will do the trick , the you have the $1100 BNR but if you get raped on customs the gtx28 is cheaper .I worked it out the other day for lib .

Id love to see the stock ko4 doing it though :kick:

edit to add :

boost hoses and mikalor clamps
some sort of bpv which you will probably want .

really is adding up innit.

Gunther did lib one , then someone else had one .

I think he has 3-4 left now , ring him they have the tiniest casting defects ever .

Considering mine had to be drilled to fit the coldpipe aswel , they are a bargain . I paid 250 .

Wow that was quite a welcome. Yes a lot of what you said is the way I may go. I do have a new turbo in mind but not shore if im going just hybrid or not. I want a reliable 300 first then push from there. I am well aware of the cost lucky enough im in no massive rush. Its about how it looks and sounds at the moment. I will get some before and after pics up once the paint is done and a vid of the exhaust asap.
