Hey guys! I'm Aaron, I'm a huge MPS enthusiast signing in from Perth, down in Western Australia. I bought my 2005 standard pack MPS6 in March, 2011. When I got her, she was as standard as standard could be, and cheap due to her 130,000-odd kilometers on the clock. Since then, I've been slowly building her up into the weapon I've got now. - JBR turbo inlet - Cobb short ram intake - Corksport FRP airbox - XSracing front mount - ACT Racing spec 6 puck clutch with brass buttons - Fidanza lightweight flywheel - Cobb Accessport V2 (Stage 1 98 tune @18spi) - Autotech hpfp (yet to install) - Ebay down pipe (yet to install) - AEM wideband (yet to install) - Grimmspeed EBC - Evo 8MR Brembo conversion - Powergrid adjustable endlinks - BC Coilovers - AWR side engine mounts - JRB rear engine mount - SURE diff braces (both) & SURE shifter bushes - Whiteline rear sway bar - Megan braces (H bracing, trailing arm braces, rear strut brace) - RAYS LMGT2 17x8 wrapped in 235/45 Toyos - battery relocated to the boot And probably a heap of little fiddly things I've forgotten... The car is going through it's next round of mods currently (stage 2 mod train!) and should be back on the road before Christmas Anyway guys, hope you're all playing safe, and hope to have a chat to some like minded mps people! Cheers!

Welcome. Not sure if you noticed, but there's a bit of front trim missing on your car?

Not sure if you noticed, but there's a bit of front trim missing on your car? hahaha, yepppp. That's from driving about fifty k's down a track called 'Blackwood River Road', I ended up taking it maybe a bit deeper in to the bush than I probably should have, and it got taken off on a lump of wood. You only need that splitter for the TMIC anyway, and I'm building an FRP front underbody diffuser and boxed air dams for it. And thanks so much for the warm welcome fellas! richie3mps - Yeah, old Roley, not a bad place at all! I sometimes go for drives out that way

gingerlomax wrote: Hi and hello.. What Haynes manual is that i have looked and canot find one for the MPS. That's a normal Mazda6 GG manual. It does help for a lot of things - torque settings for bolts, procedure to remove the subframe.. you just have to sort of use your imagination on the spots where it doesn't match. But a lot of stuff is quite similar. The book is now stuffed with printed out MPS-specific tutorials I've found online... One day I'll make a laminated folder for it all, such a lifesaver having a hard copy of your notes. This is my first AWD car (I built and raced skylines previously), so while some knowledge does cross over, so much is new and alien, and it's so much fun learning about these cars!
