Hi Guys, Ive finally got round to this post, I joined up in Jan! I bought my Alu silver MK2 3MPS in march to replace my RX8 231 after series of Pug 306's This is the best car I've owned by far and lot of spec for the money in comparison to some. After searching through the site I now have a lengthy shopping list! Yesterday I decided to go for a drive out to Dynodaze in Leics and was handed a slightly disappointing readout with bumpy curves after peak torque and up to peak bhp. I'm quite sceptical of this readout as in the past more information has been on the printout, which section would be best to post it in for those in the know? Cheers, Dario.

So what mods have you got on this shopping list? If you have any doubt about the running of the car, might be worth getting the Torque app and ODBII reader to take some logs. The stock tune will probably be all over the place in the heat we are having, boost and ignition timing are affected by high boost air temps. Oh, and to !!

Hi Dan This is the printout, sorry if this should have been posted elsewhere. The reason its bothered me is that is doesn't specify whether it is fly or at the wheels, but after looking at the recent dyno printouts from other members on here, power at the wheels would make more sense or I have a fair loss! However the staff at dynodaze are adamant that they have calculated it to be flywheel power. And they spelt my name wrong ha! Ive got the dashcommand app and obd2 plug in but it hasn't automatically validated the PIDs and is giving some enthusiastic numbers to say the least lol. Upto now im looking at getting the hpfp internals, 2nd cat delete a sure sri and update the recirc valve for now, but must admit im tempted by the sure ventus. Looks like ive already missed out on a few good group buys though lately Thanks for the welcome guys!

Dont panic, the graph plot has not employed any smoothing factors. All plots come out looking like this without any smoothing.
In terms of the numbers every dyno is different, but a 220whp figure at my local dyno with STD correction to fly wheel - comes out at 265-270hp depending on the air pressure and temperature.

That's great and pretty much what I thought and told them. Thanks for your reply!
Seems that they pi**ed off a few focus RST owners yesterday that have clearly spent a lot of time, effort and money on their cars.
After all it was just an opportunity to have a drive out somewhere, think I'll stick to the dyno I've used in the past or go along to the next MPS RR day for comparison. Still abit annoying as I would have liked a more accurate starting figure before adding mods to the car.

I'd say the graph looks fairly normal barring the smoothing factors like Pulpmelon said

5th is fine, it's actually closer to 1:1 than 4th. Graph looks good, it's probably whp. Post some logs to be sure.

Hi Dario, don't worry about the figures, it's quite widely known around Leicester that you come out with 30bhp less at dynodaze compared to anywhere else. Last time I was there an ST had done about 1k worth of mods since the last time he was there and he'd lost 2bhp haha
