Hi All,

Just thought i'd say hi, have had my Mk 1 3MPS for approx 1mth now and am loving owning a turbo'd motor again.

This site has been very useful and from reading reviews and posts i've already started modifying it.

I've gone for the corksport filter + turbo intake pipe which sounds great can really hear the turbo spooling up, also went for the hypertech which is spot on for me as i don't intend on heavily modding and am happy to run stk turbo with small bolt on mods.
The hypertech has made a real notiable difference you can feel it pull upto redline and 1st and 2nd gear give more the sort of performance you would expect from a 260bhp motor.
Will have to get it up Santa Pod in the near future as i'm local to there and see what it runs.

Hello & :welcome:

Good choice of mod's

I got my 2nd CAT removed and felt a nice little difference, but this was before getting Hypertech...just in case you fancied it too...makes the MPS sound a little better too

Yeah will probably be looking to de-cat in the future as the stk exhaust is pretty quiet, especially when compared with my previous car
(Alfa GTV Cup fitted with a de-cat and dtm rear)

Don't think the Mps with ever compare in the engine sound/exhaust note but in performance it has the upper hand.
