Hi all, As of yesterday, i am a proud owner of a Black Mica Mazda 3 MPS with the aero kit on a 58 plate. My previous cars include a 1.25 zetec fiesta for when i past my test, which i kept only for a year to then commit myself with finance buying a citroen C2 'CODE edition' (vts engine but with biscuit tan leather, limited grey and few other options). Had this for two years by which i got myself out of the finance and purchased an immaculate phase 1 clio sport 172 with only 1 owner from new and 38k miles. To which after a year and half ownership fancied moving away from n/a and get something with boost! With a few of my mates having some quick cars (focus ST3 - 296bhp, seat ibiza bocanegra - 239bhp, Mk1 focus rs - 240bhp, Audi S3 - 260bhp) i decided i would join them but wanted something a bit different and something you rarely see which brought me to the mazda 3 mps. Having always loved the mps and mazda in general from my dad owning a 1994 FD3 RX7 and a 231hp RX8 i decided to start my research to know the ins and outs of what i could be buying. Anyway, cutting a long story short, i have now brought one. I pick it up on Monday evening as i managed to wangle a full years MOT, Tax and service out of the dealer when purchasing so looking forward to many happy miles with the MPS. Insurance wasnt too much more than the clio and as i havent got to worry about tax etc for a year i cant wait to get it home. Looking forward to chatting with some fellow MPS owners and reading everyones views and tuning routes etc. Hope you all had a good christmas and new year and i will upload some pics once i have picked it up. Neil

It's best to get an intake first so the turbo can breathe I recommend the corksport intake including the turbo intake pipe. (tip) 2. I would probably get rear mount inserts or a new rear engine mount 3. some sort of map, hypertech, versatuner or BBR are all good 4.rear anti roll bar 5.2nd decat or cat back exhaust These are all bolt on mods and are easy to fit/remove
